Studying territories is a guided research project that will cover an entire year of social sciences/geography. Your students will be researching various urban, rural, and agricultural territories and recording their research. They can dig in deep with the topics that interest them and just scratch the surface of those that are less inspiring.
For those in Quebec, The territories project will cover all the competencies for cycle one geography in high school. This course is covered in either 7th or 8th grade as the social sciences study for that year. This project alone will cover every competency if all the territories listed are studied.
