10 More Print and Play Games

Updated: Oct 16, 2021

I stumbled upon another print and play site last week. This one is PnP Paradise. All of their games are free, so this collection will only cost you ink and paper. Their collection is continuing to grow but is already quite impressive. So, stock up on ink and get ready to play!

Splendor (Marvel redesign)

This is one of our favorite games. You will find it on our 10 games to start your hobby collection. It is easy to pick up and engine building games are among my favorite type. The redesigned cards are a nice freshening up of the original design.

Love Letter

Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2–4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. This is a lovely redesign of the original. The artwork is beautiful. This is a small game but is highly popular for very good reason.

Utopia Engine

In Utopia Engine, you play an old artificer named Isodoros who is attempting to reconstruct the Utopia Engine, a fabled device from the distant past and possibly the only hope for averting the fast approaching Doomsday. You must recover the machine's six parts from six dangerous regions and assemble the Utopia Engine before the world ends. The game uses simple dice mechanics to simulate searching the wilderness, activating and assembling powerful artifacts, and combat with artifact weapons.

Orchard

Orchard is a quick solitaire 'tile laying' game that plays in under 10 minutes. The aim of the game is to harvest fruit (score points) by playing cards so that their fruit trees overlap other trees already in the orchard that bear the same fruit. The more trees you can overlap, the more fruit you'll pick. We have an actual copy of this game and just love it. We are planning to print the cards for 2 more players so we can play the multiplayer version.

Root

Root is a game of adventure and war in which 2 to 4 players battle for control of a vast wilderness. It is a much more complex game that those I have already listed. All the players have their own unique way to play, so it is going to take time and patience to learn. This is a great opportunity to give the game a try before dropping a pretty penny on the hard copy.

Welcome to Dino World (Basic Version)

Build and manage your own dinosaur park in this strategic roll and write game for 1 or more players. Roll dice, draw pens and try not to let any dinosaurs escape! This is a really fun game. If you like roll and write games, this one is worth a try.

Hive

Hive is a highly addictive strategic game for two players that is not restricted by a board and can be played anywhere on any flat surface. Hive is made up of twenty two pieces, eleven black and eleven white, resembling a variety of creatures each with a unique way of moving. It is a classic in 2 player games and has no set up time, which is fantastic.

The Legend of Zelda: Clockwork Realm

The Legend of Zelda: Clockwork Realm is a cooperative game for 1-4 players, where each player will guide the various shadows of the hero, Link, in his journeys across Hyrule and into the dungeons scattered across the lands in his quest to reconstruct the sacred Triforce.

The game employs a form of deck-building to allow the players to level up their heroes. Each deck starts with just some basic skill cards representing a hero's Power, Courage and Wisdom. We have a huge Zelda fan in our house, so we are looking forward to giving this one a try.

Wonderland

In Wonderland, you choose to play as either Alice or the Red Queen. Place your cards carefully to control areas of Wonderland while taking advantage of your magic items. This game was a special release for Table Top Day 2018. It is a tiny 18 cards, so it will give your printer a little break between all these bigger box games.

TINYforming Mars

This is a fan-made miniaturization inspired by the Jacob Fryxelius game, Terraforming Mars. TINYforming Mars is a 1-2 player game set in the distant future; where mankind has mastered the technologies needed to turn our lifeless neighbor, Mars, into a thriving destination for humanity. All of this, on nine cards! We absolutely love Terraforming Mars and can't wait to try this micro version.
